Affected Areas
Vermilion County in east central Illinois. Specific locations include Danville, Hoopeston, Tilton, Oakwood, Rossville, Potomac, Rankin, Fithian, Vermilion Regional Airport, Bismarck, Henning, Muncie, Collison, Alvin and Armstrong. Includes Kickapoo State Recreation Area and Middle Fork State Fish and Wildlife Area. Interstate 74 between mile markers 199 and 220.

At 12:39 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. Impact: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
