Alert Details
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Indianapolis. The alert is effective from August 14 at 2:12 AM EDT until August 14 at 8:15 AM EDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Northern Tippecanoe County in west central Indiana and Warren County in west central Indiana. Locations that will experience flash flooding include Lafayette, West Lafayette, Williamsport, Shadeland, Battle Ground, West Lebanon, Pine Village, Rainsville, Purdue University, Tab and Pence. This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 175 and 184.

Expected Conditions
At 2:12 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
