A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Indianapolis. The alert is effective from 8:21 PM EDT on June 21, 2026, until 11:00 PM EDT on June 21, 2026.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Daviess County in southwestern Indiana, northeastern Knox County in southwestern Indiana, and northern Martin County in southwestern Indiana. Locations that will experience flash flooding include Vincennes, Washington, Bicknell, Loogootee, Odon, Elnora, Wheatland, Bruceville, Plainville, Sandborn, Montgomery, Edwardsport, Crane, Cannelburg, West Boggs Lake, Burns City and Indian Springs.

Expected Conditions
At 8:21 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 2.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. The hazard is flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
