A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in New Orleans. The alert is effective from 5:41 AM CDT on May 9, 2026, until 9:45 AM CDT on May 9, 2026.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Amite County, Pike County, Walthall County, and eastern Wilkinson County in southern Mississippi. Specific locations include McComb, Liberty, Magnolia, Summit, Centreville, Tylertown, Woodville, Gloster, Gillsburg, Smithdale, Salem, Dexter, Crosby, and McComb Airport. Interstate 55 between mile markers 2 and 24 is also affected.
