Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Morristown TN. Effective from 8:20 PM EDT to 10:45 PM EDT on May 25, 2026.
Affected Areas
Southeastern Sevier County in east Tennessee, including Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Pittman Center, Harrisburg, Elkmont, Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Fairgarden.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks.
Expected Conditions
At 8:20 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
