Affected Areas
Southern Bourbon County, northern Cherokee County, and Crawford County in southeastern Kansas. Specific locations include Pittsburg, Girard, Frontenac, Arma, Cherokee, Weir, Mulberry, Scammon, Mccune, Arcadia, Walnut, West Mineral, Hepler, Sherman, Chicopee, Franklin, Roseland, Beulah, Ringo, Lone Oak, Polk, Brazilton, Greenbush, Farlington, Carona, Englevale, Yale, Croweburg, Skidmore, Stippville, Pawnee Station, Opolis, Lawton and Garland.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard is flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. Impacts include flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
