Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Springfield MO. Effective from 2026-06-14T02:06:00-05:00 until 2026-06-14T06:00:00-05:00. Severity: Severe. Certainty: Likely. Urgency: Immediate.
Affected Areas
Southeastern Greene County in southwestern Missouri, including Springfield, Republic, Battlefield, Brookline and Galloway. Specific low water crossings include Wilson Creek at Farm Road 146, Wilson's Creek at Farm Road 150 and Wilson Creek at Farm Road 156.

At 2:06 AM CDT, thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is already occurring with numerous reports of water rescues and stranded vehicles.
