Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Tucson AZ. Effective from August 4, 2026 at 7:57 PM MST until August 4, 2026 at 11:00 PM MST. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
South Central Cochise County in southeastern Arizona, including Douglas, Bisbee-Douglas Airport, and Pirtleville. Highways affected include Route 80 between mile markers 365 and 385, and Route 191 between mile markers 1 and 18.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Expected Conditions
At 7:57 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain focused on locales just north to northeast of the city of Douglas. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.75 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
