Alert Details
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Indianapolis IN. The alert is effective from June 6 at 10:30 PM EDT until June 7 at 1:30 AM EDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Fountain County, Western Montgomery County, North Central Parke County, Southwestern Tippecanoe County, Northwestern Vermillion County, and Southwestern Warren County in west central Indiana. Locations that will experience flash flooding include Covington, Veedersburg, Williamsport, Attica, Waynetown, West Lebanon, Hillsboro, Kingman, Perrysville, New Richmond, Wingate, Newtown, Mellott, State Line City, Wallace, Alamo, Yeddo, Foster, Gessie and Shades State Park.

Expected Conditions
At 10:30 PM EDT, emergency management reported multiple areas of high water and rushing water caused by thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
