Affected Areas
Southern Bond County, Clinton County, Southwestern Fayette County, Western Marion County, Northern Washington County, Southeastern Madison County, and Northeastern Saint Clair County in south central and southwestern Illinois. Specific locations include Breese, New Baden, Carlyle, Trenton, Aviston, Okawville, St. Rose, Germantown, Albers, Wamac, Beckemeyer, Pocahontas, Tamalco, Beaver Creek, Jamestown, Boulder, Shattuc, New Memphis and Pleasant Mound. Also includes Carlyle Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area and Eldon Hazlet State Recreation Area, and Interstate 64 near exit 34.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen with additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
