Alert Details
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL. The alert is effective from June 7 at 1:47 PM CDT until June 7 at 7:45 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers South Central Scott County in east central Iowa and South Central Rock Island County in northwestern Illinois. Locations that will experience flash flooding include Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, Milan, Buffalo, Andalusia, Reynolds, Oak Grove, Taylor Ridge, Edgington, Credit Island, West Lake Park, Buffalo Shores, Blackhawk State Park, Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, Coyne Center, Rock Island Arsenal and Fruitland. This includes Interstate 280 between mile markers 5 and 16.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen in the hardest hit areas. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible.
