Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Burlington VT (NOAA). Effective from June 15, 2026 at 12:25 AM EDT until June 15, 2026 at 3:30 AM EDT.
Affected Areas
East Central Rutland County and West Central Windsor County in southern Vermont, including Rutland, Mendon, Killington, Shrewsbury, Rutland City, Clarendon, Stockbridge, Gifford Woods State Park, Giffords Woods State Forest Park, North Sherburne and North Clarendon.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or creeks.
Expected Conditions
Thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen with additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
