Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Salt Lake City UT. Effective from August 11 at 1:14 PM MDT until August 11 at 4:15 PM MDT. Alert type code: FFW.
Affected Areas
West Central Piute County in central Utah, specifically the Cottonwood Burn Scar. Impacts expected along US 89 between mile markers 171 to 176, including Gold Gulch and Ten Mile Creek areas.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Cottonwood Burn Scar. Between 0.25 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches possible. Excessive rainfall will result in debris flow consisting of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials moving through Gold Gulch, Ten Mile Creek, and possibly Cottonwood Gulch.
