Alert Details
The National Weather Service in New Orleans has issued a Flash Flood Warning. This alert is effective from 6:04 PM CDT on April 29, 2026, until 9:15 PM CDT on the same day.
Affected Areas
The warning affects northwestern Pike County in southern Mississippi, including the locations of Mccomb, Magnolia, Summit, and Mccomb Airport. It also includes Interstate 55 in Mississippi between mile markers 14 and 21.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicates thunderstorms producing heavy rain, with between 2.5 and 3.5 inches of rain already fallen and additional 1 to 3 inches possible. This will cause flash flooding in small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
