Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Mount Holly NJ (NOAA). Effective from August 3, 2026 at 10:44 AM EDT until August 3, 2026 at 2:45 PM EDT.
Affected Areas
Northwestern Burlington County in southern New Jersey; Northwestern Camden County in southern New Jersey; North Central Gloucester County in southern New Jersey; Southeastern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania; Central Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania. Locations that may experience flash flooding include Philadelphia, Camden, Gloucester City, Cherry Hill, Evesham, Mount Laurel, Willingboro, Deptford, Voorhees, Lindenwold, Lumberton and Florence. Affected highways include Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 22 and 56; New Jersey Turnpike between exits 3 and 6A; Interstate 76 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 349 and 351; Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 15 and 21; Interstate 676 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 4; Interstate 76 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 3.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Expected Conditions
Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen with additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches possible. Flash flooding is already occurring with several reports of road closures in portions of Camden and Burlington counties. Hazard is life threatening flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
