Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Springfield MO. Effective from August 7 at 11:30 PM CDT until August 8 at 3:00 AM CDT.
Affected Areas
Oregon County in south central Missouri, including Alton, Thomasville, Greer, Couch, Wilderness and Rover. Low water crossings mentioned include Warm Fork Spring River at County Road 323, Whites Creek at Highway K, Frederick Creek at Highway A, Hurricane Creek at Highway U and Piney Creek at County Road 228.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen with additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch possible. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
