The warning covers Northeastern Tarrant County in north central Texas, including Fort Worth, Arlington, Grand Prairie, Euless, Bedford, Grapevine, Haltom City, Keller, Hurst, Southlake, Watauga, Colleyville, Saginaw, Richland Hills, River Oaks, Sansom Park, Lake Worth, Eagle Mountain, North Richland Hills and Pecan Acres.

Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches forecast. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Impacts include flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and other poor drainage and low lying areas.
