Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Tucson AZ. Effective from August 29, 2026 at 7:37 PM MST until August 29, 2026 at 10:30 PM MST. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.

Affected Areas

Northeastern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona, including Kearny and Dudleyville. Highways affected include Route 77 between mile markers 124 and 134, and Route 177 between mile markers 139 and 148.

What You Should Do

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

Expected Conditions

Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch possible. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
