Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX. Effective from June 15 at 4:58 AM CDT until June 15 at 9:00 AM CDT. Severity: Severe. Certainty: Likely. Urgency: Immediate.
Affected Areas
Northeastern Maverick County in south central Texas. Specific locations include Eagle Pass, Chula Vista, Paloma, Rosita, Elm Creek, Siesta Acres, Fabrica, Seco Mines, Las Quintas Fronterizas and Eidson Road.
What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.

At 4:58 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
