Affected Areas
Smith County in Middle Tennessee; Southeastern Sumner County in Middle Tennessee; Trousdale County in Middle Tennessee; Central Wilson County in Middle Tennessee. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Lebanon, Carthage, Hartsville, Watertown, Gordonsville, Hickman, South Carthage, Tuckers Crossroads, Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area, Dixon Springs, Pleasant Shade and Bledsoe Creek State Park.

Expected Conditions
At 8:43 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. Impact: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
