Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Charleston WV. Effective from 2026-05-24T17:58:00-04:00 until 2026-05-24T22:00:00-04:00. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
Southwestern Logan County and central Mingo County in southern West Virginia. Specific locations include Williamson, Delbarton, Red Jacket, Holden, Chattaroy, Matewan, Varney, Myrtle, Sarah Ann, Chauncey, and Switzer. Includes Route 119 between mile markers 9 and 23.
