Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Pueblo CO. Effective from August 31 at 5:03 PM MDT until August 31 at 8:00 PM MDT. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
North Central Las Animas County in southeastern Colorado and Southeastern Otero County in southeastern Colorado. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Higbee.

Expected Conditions
At 5:03 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. Impact: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
