Alert Details
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO. The alert is effective from June 21, 2026 at 4:42 AM CDT until June 21, 2026 at 8:30 AM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Johnson County in east central Kansas, Leavenworth County in northeastern Kansas, Wyandotte County in northeastern Kansas, Southwestern Clay County in west central Missouri, and Southeastern Platte County in west central Missouri.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Impacts include flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
