Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Quad Cities IA IL. Effective from June 17 at 7:24 AM CDT until June 17 at 1:30 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
Johnson County in east central Iowa and southern Linn County in east central Iowa. Locations include Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, West Branch, Marion, Coralville, North Liberty, Hiawatha, Mount Vernon, Lisbon, Fairfax, Solon, Tiffin, Ely, Walford, Springville, University Heights, Swisher, Oxford, Shueyville and Bertram. Includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 230 and 253 and Interstate 380 between mile markers 1 and 25.

Expected Conditions
At 7:24 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
