Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Topeka KS. Effective from June 4 at 10:40 PM CDT until June 5 at 2:30 AM CDT. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.

Northern Jackson County in northeastern Kansas and northeastern Pottawatomie County in northeastern Kansas. Specific locations include Onaga, Whiting, Circleville, Netawaka, Soldier, and Havensville.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. Impact: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
