Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS San Angelo TX. Effective from 2026-05-19T16:07:00-05:00 until 2026-05-19T19:15:00-05:00. Alert type code: FFW.

Northwestern Irion County and West Central Tom Green County in west central Texas.
What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become unstable and unsafe.
Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.25 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
