Alert Details
The National Weather Service (NWS) Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN has issued a Flash Flood Warning. This alert is effective from 5:01 PM CDT until 11:00 PM CDT on April 13, 2026.
Affected Areas
The warning affects Goodhue County in southeastern Minnesota. Specific locations include Red Wing, Cannon Falls, Goodhue, Stanton, Welch, Frontenac, Vasa, Wacouta, Bellechester, Hader, Wastedo, Frontenac State Park, and Central Point.

Doppler radar indicates thunderstorms producing heavy rain, with 1 to 3 inches of rain already fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible, at a rate of 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. This will cause flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets, underpasses, and other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
