Alert Details
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Flagstaff AZ. The alert is effective from June 15 at 4:03 PM MST until June 15 at 7:00 PM MST.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Gila County in east central Arizona, specifically the Billy Fire scar. Locations that will experience flash flooding include the Sierra Ancha Wilderness, with the main threat along Cherry Creek on the east side of the fire scar.
What You Should Do
Flash flooding downstream of the Billy Fire scar is imminent or occurring. Low water crossings will quickly become inundated and impassable. Do not attempt to cross flooded roadways, and stay away from creeks, streams and washes.

At 4:03 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the Billy Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen, with additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.5 inches possible.
