Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Mobile AL. Effective from 7:54 PM CDT June 19, 2026 until 11:00 PM CDT June 19, 2026. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
Western George County, Southern Perry County, and Stone County in southeastern Mississippi. Specific locations include Wiggins, Perkinston, Whites Crossing, Big Level, Ten Mile, Bond, Perry, Deep Creek, Ramsey Springs, Barbara and Texas.
What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard is flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
