Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Fort Worth TX. Effective from 6:15 AM CDT June 20, 2026 until 10:00 AM CDT June 20, 2026. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
Southern Freestone County, Leon County, and east central Limestone County in central Texas. Specific locations include Groesbeck, Teague, Buffalo, Centerville, Lake Limestone, Fort Boggy State Park, Fort Parker State Park, Corinth, Jewett, Redland, Leona, Donie, Robbins, Farrar, Dew, Freestone, Flo and Pleasant Springs.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Avoid flooded areas.
Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing very heavy rain with numerous roads reportedly flooded and impassable. Radar estimates 4 to 8 inches of rain has fallen across eastern Limestone, western Freestone, and northern Leon Counties, and 1 to 3 inches across central Leon County. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the next few hours. Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
