A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service Jackson MS. The alert is effective from June 16 at 1:58 PM CDT until June 16 at 6:00 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Forrest County in southeastern Mississippi, southern Lamar County in southeastern Mississippi, and southeastern Marion County in south central Mississippi. Locations that will experience flash flooding include Hattiesburg, Purvis, Lumberton, Baxterville, Pine Ridge, Rock Hill, McLaurin, Brooklyn, Pine Burr, Maxie, Sandy Hook and Pickwick.
