Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Peachtree City GA. Effective from 9:00 PM EDT on June 9, 2026 until 12:00 AM EDT on June 10, 2026.
Affected Areas
South Central Floyd County in northwestern Georgia and Northwestern Polk County in northwestern Georgia. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Cedartown, Cave Spring and Etna.

At 9:00 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 2 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard is flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
