A Flash Flood Warning (event code FFW) has been issued by the National Weather Service Quad Cities IA IL. The alert is effective from June 17, 2026 at 8:25 AM CDT until June 17, 2026 at 2:30 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
The warning covers Northeastern Cedar County, Southwestern Clinton County, Northeastern Muscatine County, and Scott County in east central Iowa, as well as West Central Henry County and Southeastern Rock Island County in northwestern Illinois. Specific locations include Davenport, Moline, Rock Island, Bettendorf, East Moline, Durant, Silvis, Eldridge, Milan, Colona, Le Claire, Coal Valley, Hampton, Port Byron, Walcott, Blue Grass, Buffalo, Andalusia, Rapids City, and Princeton. Impacted highways include Interstate 74 in Iowa (mile markers 1-5), Interstate 280 (mile markers 1-18), Interstate 80 in Iowa (mile markers 278-306), Interstate 80 in Illinois (mile markers 1-5), and Interstate 74 in Illinois (mile markers 1-13).
