A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL. The alert is effective from June 11 at 2:56 PM CDT until June 11 at 9:00 PM CDT.
Affected Areas
Dubuque County in northeastern Iowa. Specific locations include Dubuque, Asbury, Cascade, Epworth, Farley, Peosta, Worthington, Rickardsville, Sherrill, Centralia, Sageville, Bernard, Zwingle, Bankston, Durango, Graf, Lattnerville, Dubuque County Fairgrounds, Camp Little Cloud and Swiss Valley Park.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
Expected Conditions
At 2:56 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding from heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is already occurring. Hazard is flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
