Alert Details
Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Topeka KS (NOAA). Effective from June 10 at 8:15 PM CDT until June 11 at 12:15 AM CDT.
Affected Areas
Southeastern Dickinson County in central Kansas; southwestern Geary County in east central Kansas; northwestern Morris County in east central Kansas. Locations include Junction City, Herington, Grandview Plaza, White City, Hope, Woodbine, Carlton, and Latimer. Interstate 70 between mile markers 290 and 306.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
Expected Conditions
At 8:14 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
