A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Flagstaff AZ. The alert is effective from August 7, 2026 at 6:01 PM MST until August 7, 2026 at 9:00 PM MST.
Affected Areas
The warning covers the White Sage Fire scar in Coconino County in north central Arizona. Specific locations include Le Fevre Overlook and U.S. Highway 89A between mile markers 585 and 595. Affected creeks, washes and rivers include Rock Canyon, Jacob Canyon, Wildcat Canyon, Kaibab Wash and Johnson Wash.

Expected Conditions
At 6:01 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain over the western side of the White Sage Fire scar. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.25 inches are possible in the warned area.
