Coconino County in north central Arizona... * Until 830 PM MST. * At 537 PM MST, Heavy rain that occurred earlier in Utah produced a gage rise of nearly 3 feet along the Paria River just north of the Arizona border. As a result, this flood wave will move through the slot canyon area of the northern Paria River. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the Paria River. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Paria Canyon and Paria River Slot Canyon. This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Paria River.
