Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Lubbock TX. Effective from June 19 at 4:17 AM CDT until June 19 at 5:45 AM CDT. Alert type code: FFW.

Northern Cottle County, Northeastern Motley County, Southern Childress County, and Southeastern Hall County in the Texas panhandle.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Avoid flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Expected Conditions
At 4:17 AM CDT, a line of slow-moving thunderstorms was producing heavy rain. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen, highest in far southeast Hall County. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible.
