Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Fort Worth TX. Effective from 8:42 PM CDT June 14, 2026 until 10:00 PM CDT June 14, 2026. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
Northern Bell County, Southeastern Coryell County, West Central Falls County, and Southwestern McLennan County in central Texas. Locations include Temple, Belton, Gatesville, Robinson, McGregor, Morgan's Point Resort, Lorena, Troy, Bruceville-Eddy, Moody, Mother Neff State Park, Belton Lake, Fort Gates, Oglesby and Whitson.
What You Should Do
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
