Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS San Angelo TX. Effective from June 14 at 6:56 PM CDT until June 14 at 10:00 PM CDT. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
Central Brown County in west central Texas. Specific locations include Brownwood, Early, Bangs, Blanket, Camp Bowie and Zephyr. Low water crossings: Gifford at Beaver, Austin Street at Avenue G, Cordell at Anderson, Good Shephard at 11th, Indian Creek at 9th, Belle Plain at Romines, 4th Street at Wood, Willis at Belmeade, Magnolia at Belmeade and Austin Street at Avenue J.

Expected Conditions
At 6:55 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
