Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Quad Cities IA IL. Effective from 12:34 PM CDT to 6:45 PM CDT on June 7, 2026.
Affected Areas
Eastern Cedar County in east central Iowa, Western Clinton County in east central Iowa, Northeastern Muscatine County in east central Iowa. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Durant, Wilton, Lowden, Wheatland, Lost Nation, Calamus, Bennett, Toronto, Bennett Park, Walnut Grove Park, Massillon Park, Sunbury and Lyons. This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 271 and 277.

Expected Conditions
At 12:34 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
