A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service in Brownsville TX. The alert is effective from June 15 at 7:00 AM CDT until June 15 at 9:00 AM CDT.

The warning covers Western Cameron County in deep south Texas and Southeastern Hidalgo County in deep south Texas. Locations that will experience flash flooding include Weslaco, Alamo, Donna, Mercedes, Weslaco Fire Department Station Two, Weslaco City Hall, Weslaco Public Library, Alameda Park, Weslaco High School, Sam Houston Elementary School, Harlon Block Sports Complex, Isaac D. Rodriguez Park, Knapp Medical Center, Black Elementary School, Weslaco City Park, Weslaco Border Patrol Station, Midway South, Weslaco Fire Department Station One and Weslaco East High School.

Expected Conditions
At 7:00 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
