Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Louisville KY. Effective from 2:02 AM CDT June 9, 2026 until 5:00 AM CDT June 9, 2026. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.
Affected Areas
North Central Butler County in south central Kentucky. Specific locations include Morgantown, Aberdeen, Eden, Flener, Monford, Welcome, Youngtown and Dunbar.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. Impact: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
