Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS San Angelo TX. Effective from June 19 at 7:24 AM CDT until June 19 at 10:30 AM CDT. Severity: Severe. Urgency: Immediate. Certainty: Likely.

Northern Brown County and northeastern Coleman County in west central Texas. Specific locations include Brownwood, Coleman, Blanket, Grosvenor, Byrds, Lake Brownwood Near Thrifty, Cross Cut, Lake Brownwood, Lake Brownwood State Park, Burkett, May, Thrifty, Echo and Owens. Low water crossings mentioned: FM 2273 crossing Rough Branch, FM 1467 crossing Blanket Creek, FM-RD 136 crossing Hords Creek, County Road 485 crossing Indian Creek, Liveoak crossing Hords Creek, County Road 441 crossing Bledsoe Branch, County Road 362 crossing Blanket Creek, CR 321 crossing Blanket Creek Branch, County Road 323 crossing Blanket Creek and Colorado St. crossing Hords Creek Draw.

At 7:23 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard includes life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
