Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Lubbock TX. Effective from 2026-05-26T13:31:00-05:00 until 2026-05-26T15:30:00-05:00.
Affected Areas
Western Briscoe County in the panhandle of Texas and northeastern Swisher County in the panhandle of Texas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include Silverton, Vigo Park and Mackenzie Reservoir.

Expected Conditions
At 1:31 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard is flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
