Northern Rockcastle County in south central Kentucky; Southwestern Breathitt County in southeastern Kentucky; Central Jackson County in southeastern Kentucky; Southern Lee County in southeastern Kentucky; Owsley County in southeastern Kentucky. Specific locations include McKee, Booneville, Boone, New Zion, Turkey Foot, Privett, Mummie, Green Hall, Earnestville, Wild Dog, Elian, Gray Hawk, Lakes, Wind Cave, Bradshaw, Macedonia, Travellers Rest, Sturgeon, Vincent and Endee.

What You Should Do

Expected Conditions

Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen since 8 AM. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible between 11 AM and 2 PM. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
