Flash Flood Warning issued by NWS Charleston WV. Effective from 2026-05-24T20:16:00-04:00 until 2026-05-25T00:15:00-04:00. Severity: Severe. Certainty: Likely. Urgency: Immediate.
Affected Areas
Northwestern Braxton County, Southeastern Calhoun County, North Central Clay County, and Gilmer County in north central West Virginia. Specific locations include Glenville, Cedar Creek State Park, Big Otter, Burnsville, Sand Fork, Normantown, Cedarville, Shock, Rosedale, Stumptown, Wilsie, Nicut, Stouts Mills, Millstone, Orma, Baldwin, Chloe, and Nebo. Includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 39 and 44, and between mile markers 77 and 83.
