Affected Areas
Southwestern Boone County, eastern Newton County, and southwestern Searcy County in north central Arkansas. Locations that will experience flash flooding include Harrison, Jasper, Pruitt, Piercetown, Carver, Erbie, Capps, Red Bank, Eula, Moore, Alpena, Batavia, Ben Hur, Bass, Bear Creek Springs, Marble Falls, Hasty, Vendor, Yardelle, and Gaither.

Expected Conditions
Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen in the last hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. Impact: Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
