Alert Details
A Flash Flood Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Quad Cities IA IL. This warning is effective from 6:00 PM CDT on April 15, 2026, until 12:00 AM CDT on April 16, 2026.
Affected Areas
The warning affects Benton County in east central Iowa, including the cities of Vinton, Belle Plaine, Urbana, Shellsburg, Newhall, Blairstown, Van Horne, Keystone, Garrison, Mount Auburn, and Luzerne. It also includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 40 and 48, as well as streams and drainages such as Mud Creek, Wildcat Creek, and the Iowa River.
