Affected Areas
Western Escambia County in south central Alabama; Northwestern Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama; Central Mobile County in southwestern Alabama; Northwestern Escambia County in northwestern Florida. Specific locations include Downtown Mobile, Midtown Mobile, Prichard, Tillmans Corner, Saraland, Bay Minette, Atmore, Chickasaw, Satsuma, Creola, Chunchula, Stockton, Axis, Semmes, Tanner Williams, I65 And AL 225, I65 And AL 158, I65 And I165, I10 And I65 and Mobile Regional Airport.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

At 7:50 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Hazard: Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. Source: Radar indicated.
